Rev. Valera Childers
Valera is known for lighting up a room when she enters.
In her community she is respected for knowing how to love herself and for her ability to instantly love and accept others as they are. In her work she shares her unique gifts of acceptance and tolerance, and inspires others to love and accept themselves. Her clients are grateful for her ability to put them at ease with humor and laughter.
Her greatest dream is to be a voice for the Pagan community. She is valued for her willingness to help and get involved. As co-coordinator for San Diego Pagan Pride 2006-2010, she feels that experience not only gives her a better understanding of human nature, but also a better appreciation for others' paths, abilities and contributions to the human experience.
Valera has been a practicing witch for 14 years. She takes great pleasure in creating all things that bring happiness, harmony, balance and joy into her home and life. She uses these talents to help others live their lives more fully and love themselves and others. She loves facilitating ritual, teaching witchcraft classes, ecstatic dance in ritual, and moving and directing energy.
She is an ordained pagan minister and a Reiki master in the tradition of Diane Stein. In her healing practice she combines her Reiki skills with her gift for balancing the chakras, creating balance and wholeness. She is a professional tarot reader and channel, delivering insightful and beneficial information to her clients.
Raised in San Diego, California, Valera currently resides there with her husband, Alan and their son. She also has 3 more amazing children from her first marriage, as well as an incredible step-son, all of whom she loves dearly.
