The way of peace: Nkegohenaani begozaahi
A hero’s journey
By Maria Yraceburu
Collective consciousness, ancient knowledge, creativity, personal dreams. The connect-tion to Seven Sisters... We are when our natural ability is fully exercised, that is, when our nature is fully and freely developed. (Fung Yu-Lan)
Now, in fact, we live in an ever-changing world, and we have had three tasks on this journey to totality. The first task was to recognize the inner and outer influences that conspired to make us believe we were alone and powerless. Awareness of these factors helps us to overcome their influence in our lives, celebrating the gift of life with joy and thanksgiving. We have found that as we focus in our thoughts and actions on activities that bring a feeling of connection with all life, we move with the flow of the Universe. In this way, we allow blessings to come to us as part of the outpouring of nurturing energetic flow, we co-create ever-greater energetic exchange.
The second task was to develop our innate abilities to move into developing areas of our lives with existing perceptions and convince our Shadow that it needs and wants something that it has gotten along without for thousands of years—through the entire paradigm of the Fourth World of Separation. At the time of this writing, energy for awakening hidden abilities are being developed, while the Shadow of Fear has been primed. To view this developing sense of true self that is emerging from classical evolution is the third task. The truth of our purpose which has lain in metamorphosis for thousands of years, is now awakening.
With Fear, we identified with our imaging, not our bodies. Our imaging, which is to say, how we interpret based on our experiences, family, culture and spiritual philosophy we grew up through, separates each of us from the rest. It is particular to self. I cannot rightly expect you to understand me because you have not experienced, seen what I have seen, been where I have been. The best is that they will resonate with certain elements of us. This is vibrational communication. Likewise, to know others deeply and intimately, we must identify with certain elements of them. This current energetic aspect can do one of two things: make us feel lonely and alienated from others; feel the wide range of connecting energies, and make communicating with others seem a whisper on the breeze.
The first cord of connection has been cut for us. The second, we cut for ourselves. Cutting the first began our purification. Cutting the second was the real beginning of integration of our spiritual life. Accept the human mission. It is the first step to raising the vibration, and an indispensable part of fulfilling our sacred identity. Everything grows according to its nature. Therefore, join with others in life-affirming celebration, but do not seek the approval of others, value your intuition; allow yourself to grow in your own natural way.
In the context that it is used here, energy is a principle or pattern. In ancient times, it was noticed that life on the land, was in harmony with the natural formations of the land, making visible patterns. It was through these patterns that energy was originally observed. We are grateful to those that observed, and laid the groundwork for the tasks we embrace now... the Way of Peace.
Maria Yraceburu was raised in the traditional earth ways of the Quero Apache and her understanding of ritual, nature and healing grew as naturally in this atmosphere as her ability to choreograph life affirming situations.
