Question of the Week?

Are you addicted to your life? Why not?

The question of addiction concerns the social connotation that is attached to it. Does it have to have a negative turn? Can we not see it as something that enhances our life so much that we would be less without it?

I am constantly saying I love my life. Each part enhances the journey that I am experiencing. The things that do not satisfy that requirement I choose to purge from my life. Addiction is choice. The question is do you have the will to choose the direction?

"Facilitating the journey within"

The path to discovery of self is a long road with many twists and turns, forks to ponder and choices to make. It is a journey requiring dedication, work, and the willingness to face the shadows within, as well as the light. We are on such a journey.

We are The Village Witch and we invite you to discover the answers that already lie within you. We welcome individuals interested in growth and understanding as we work during the moons and celebrate the veils. As we facilitate the transition between spiritual intellectual awareness and lived reality, our lives take on greater meaning and depth. This reminds us that we are Spirit walking a human path.

Although we may fall under the umbrella term “pagan”, we draw from many sources and areas and consider ourselves occultists. We do not shy away from the dark side of our nature, instead embracing it to gain further knowledge and insight. Many consider us ‘left-handed’ in our path but as earth-connected beings, our truth lies in the balance within ourselves.

We invite you to join us in this sacred walk we call life.

The way I see it: Divinity

By Alan Childers

I believe that every person is part of a “collective unconscious.” Through actions and thoughts, dreams and desires, the fabric of consciousness is born. Through the interaction of these individual elements the collective takes on an intelligence, or spirit, of its own—much like an embryo develops a consciousness as the cells divide and grow. The individual cell has no thought, but grouped as a whole they gain purpose and self-awareness.

This collective unconscious, what I call Divinity, is not a higher being per se, but a unification of every thing that is around us that has grown beyond its boundaries. Each person contributes to the whole. Therefore a person is described as being a part of the Divine by being an extension of whole, just as an arm is part of the body. [click here to read more]
